The writer of this long forgotten blog is back! (for awhile.. I might forget I have a blog again..)

Anyway, nowadays I don't really know what to write. Jem said that I like to tell stuff to the "world" and sometimes it ain't that good - there's no privacy. But this is how I communicate to my friends, whom I hardly meet, for them to KPO in my life! Well, that is assuming they still read my blog. I don't even know who reads my blog nowadays.

As I've said, it's long forgotten.

It's 1.43am and I'm still awake.

Gosh, it feels so good that I don't have to work tomorrow. (to Jem: ne ne ni bu bu... =p)

Today, darling and I went to AMK Central for dinner. Had his FAVOURITE hokkien mee (again) and a bowl of bah chor mee. We're He's a glutton, I know. =D

After which, we went walking around the heartland area and I went to THREE abc stores - you know, those kinds that sell household stuff etc for $1 - $2? It's been since God knows when I started loving to go to these kinda store. And yes, I spent quite abit. Don't want to take photos of my loot, because it'll reflect how auntie I am. =p

Went for supper 3 hours later with Tong and Kimchi (eat again). We had wanton mee, beef noodles and 1 peanut pancake @ Lavender Food Square. The pancake took probably 10 mins worth of my time and IT WASN'T GOOD. HMPH! *sulk* Enough said.

Darling is sleeping soundly now by my side. I was blowing my hair, watching TV and now typing loudly but he can't hear a thing. I guess he's TOO tired. And the best time to sleep is .... but of course after you eat. HAHA! WHAT A PIG!

Wanted to take a photo of him while he sleeps, but when I was about to take the shot, he moved. DAMN IT! Forget it, not meant to be. Plus I think he will kill me and cut 0.5 away from my 1 carat ring. HAHAHAHAHAHA! *sulk*

Awwwwwwwwwwww.. Seeing the way he sleeps, like pooh bear. Love him deep deep!

I just read and found out that the last time I posted on this blog was almost a month ago! Opps!

Sorry for disappearing for so long, I sorta forgotten that I have this blog (twitter too! oops..). I remembered I told myself when I start working, I'll still blog daily. However, I have absolutely no idea why I've slowed down on my blogging.

I think Jem stopped visiting my blog as well. =p

Anyway, updates! I recently went to Phuket (and back) and to this kelong off JB. Phuket was absolutely fun! But the Kelong was so-so, I even got burnt from the kelong. (What's new?)

Now its 4.37pm and I'm counting down to knock off. Please come sooooon!

my iphone story

and yes! as the title depicts, I've finally got my iphone!

but prior to that, many things happened. not bad, but quite interesting.... haha!

Last friday night, I dreamt that the iPhone was in stores for sale! I woke up thinking that it felt so real, so I went to check the Singtel website and to my surprise! It really is out! But will only be in stores on 7th October, Wednesday.

On tuesday, Jem told me that his brother said that it might be out on that day instead, so I went at 10am to the shop and no, it's not out! GRRRRR.

SO, on wednesday... the day has finally arrived! On the way to the office, at 9am I saw a few people, around 3-5 people outside the Singtel shop (I saw from across the street at my office atrium), queueing for the iPhone. Thinking that maybe the queue wont be that long, I decided to go down at 930am instead.

To my horror, when I went down at 930am, I was the #23 person in queue! and the shop only opens in 1 hour's time! *GASPS* So in the end, I had to queue for 1 hour and only at 1030am, I managed to get my queue ticket. Can you imagine, we had to queue to get a queue?

The interesting thing starts here. There were 2 queue series. 1 is the 7000 series - 7001, 7002 etc and the 1000 series - 1001, 1002 etc. The 7000 series were for iPhone customers and 1000 series for the rest. However, as there were many people, they will randomly assign the 1000 series to some customers. I was 1 of them.

When I got my queue ticket (1006), the ticket wrote that it was serving 1003. But on the board, there were only 7004, 7005 and 7006. I asked the queue ticket lady how long would my queue take and she said around 45mins. That was what she told the few customers in front of me.

I wanted to go back to the office, thinking its another 45mins, but I decided to stay on. Thank God I did! In the end after I sat, the counter beeped for 1004, the girl who was the 2nd person ahead of me. It beeped for awhile and when she didnt turn up, the counter beeped for 1005, the guy who was in front of me. I think both of them thought that it'll take awhile, so after they got their queue numbers, they went somewhere else. So in the end, 1006 was beeped!

I barely sat for 2 mins and I was off to the counter. There was this young fella, who looked very kanchiong to get the phone (I noticed while queueing for a queue ticket), he looked at me with shock and disgust! He was probably 6-8 people in front of me, but I got to the counter first!

I think I overtook at least 10 people in the queue! And ended up only taking 1hour of my time queueing. WOOHOOO!

I heard that people had to queue for 5 hours for the phone at night. That's madness.

Thank God I went early, 5 hours is really a waste of time. =p

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhd Sh*t

Gooooooooooooodness!

I just read my previous post (it was kinda random), only to find out that my english deteorioriated (I mean deteriorated...) !!!

It's like BOOMS! And it's all gone! *sob sob*

I wanted to edit my english (which I apparently didn't before publishing it to the world), but I thought, "nah, you all should read my terrible english". Haha!

Well, I'm not ashamed of my english, but I believe that I can do abit more to improve it. Like speaking without all the "lahs", "lohs" and "lehs". Its tough! Really! Being a Singaporean without these 3 incorporated into my sentences will literally kill me. HAHAHA!

But seriously, I don't want my kids to end up asking me, "mommy, can I get a bigini wid zibbra preens?" I'd be so upset with myself, and I believe Jeremy will KILL me. I know he has been very anal with how people (especially me) carry themselves. A little bit of singlish wouldn't kill, but it'll snowball into a huge mess if it ain't handled with properly.

I was talking to his brother about green bean soup and he told me that I sounded like an "ah soh". OMG, I almost flipped. I wanted to smack him and tell him, "I'm being myself!" But well, on hindsight, I probably didn't sound very poised. What do you expect? I'm Singaporean (my favourite excuse).

Conclusion: Let's all practise good english.

Darling and I went to Batam! =)

We reached Batam at 8.45am, checked into the hotel, and went straight out to the city. Taxis were over priced and was in S$ (from the hotel). We had to pay S$20 just to go to Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre. But it Batam View was very far away, probably 40mins away from town.

== Day 1 Brunch! ==

Upon reaching Nagoya Hill, we went to search for a mamak stall (those selling fried noodles and rice) and we managed to find 1, which is just next to the Nasi Padang stall that I went last December. Knowing bahasa indonesia was really a plus, we could order what ever we wanted to eat without "sign language". What I love most is the indomie goreng. Awesomeness!

== Day 1 Snack! ==

And so we headed to the shopping centre, only to find out that the clothes that are sold are .... Baaaaaaaaaaaaad. So we ended up at A&W. Haha! There was J.Co Donuts, KFC etc, but Singapore has them all. Don't waste stomach space!

== Day 1 Dinner! ==

After Nagoya Hill, we headed to Megamall, Batam Centre. As usual there was ABSOLUTELY nothing to buy. I only managed to buy 1 top, which darling and I both agree that was the best looking in the whole shopping centre. Sad case. Having nothing to do, we went for tea and talked to a local here. Found out that there were streetside stalls next to the shopping centre selling local fare! WOOT WOOT! So we decided to skip nasi padang (damn!) and headed to the streets.

We woke up late and almost missed breakfast. Eating in the hotel was rather expensive and so we decided to fill ourselves with as much food as possible.

And here I am, blogging at work. This shows that there isn't much to do at work, now.

Well, the market is picking up, but there's not much movement in the market today. Maybe I should start trading myself?

All I can think of now is having a looooong holiday. Work is sorta getting mundane nowadays. I'm giving myself 1 year (more or less because of the bond that I've got to serve) to find out if this line is really for me.

The market is picking up, but clients are not increasing or calling me to execute trades for them. I don't want to always have to call them to ask them "How are you?" etc. So superficial. I've already ran out of excuses to call them.

Well, when I get my new namecard, I guess I'll have additional excuse to call them.

Come on! Big money, big money!

On a side note, I'm going to Batam this weekend! WOOHOO~! Very excited. It'll just be Debbie and Jeremy. Noone else.

When will the day ever come?

Will we only become adults when we get married?

Seriously, no matter what, we'll always be this 20-30 odd years younger, so in their eyes, we'll always be babies.

We're 25! Goodness! But I feel like I'm still 15. I destest the way they restrict as if we aren't responsible with our lives. True, you give us life and I'm greatful for that. But we live our lives.

Anyway, I'm forever thinking of holiday, holiday, holiday.

Finally booked the tickets and will most probably be booking the rooms tomorrow. Those 3 guys better book their tickets asap, or I'm gonnnnnnnnna bugggggg them. Send some fleas to Happy and she'll be UNhappy. Hahaha. SO BAD. =p Hope kimchi doesn't have my blog address. (In case you do, I'm just joking!)
