Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh SLEEP

I slept for 8 hours. WOW, that was refreshing, but ain't enough.

Had lunch at Sharks Fin House at Chinatown with uncle Ong and his dad. The place was full! But thank God we had to wait for 20mins only. Wow, I didn't know that that place was famous! Was looking at the many awards that got for the past few years. Hmmmm, I shall bring my family there when they come over............. in October. Bleah.

Anyway, headed back to South Yarra and continued to ermmmmm............. Sleep. And of course, Church follows that. Church today was AWESOME. But they played all the new songs that I do not know how to sing. 3 months really made alot of difference. But well, managed to sing my way through.

Then dinner was at Pacific House. Just the 3 of us ordered roast duck, roast pork, vegetables, fish and deep fried chicken with duck egg. The bill totaled up to A$111! GOODNESS GRACIOUS ME! But well, dinner was still superb! *slurp*

So sorry, I was too hungry, didn't manage to take photos. So yeah, will do it next time.

Next stop....................... SODA ROCK!

Welcome back to Melbourne...

Well, nothing much happened here, just that I ate dinner at Chapellis with the OCFers and met up with baby after that. Then they headed to Jemo's place for poker, again. But well, I didn't go straight, as usual, I had to clean up all the mess in my room first (a.k.a unpacking my luggage) before I go off to do something else.

But by the time I finished unpacking stuff and bathing, I was already very tired and wanted to sleep, but well, baby's still there, so I decided to go there for awhile to see him and the rest. Didn't play though, was kinda brain dead already.

After that they went for the Man Utd match, I went back to zzzzzzzzz.

The End

Time passes like lightning..

Time passes so fast and now it's already 15th February. This means I'm leaving for Melbourne tomorrow!

I remembered when I first came back, I was like, "oh my gosh, I'm gonna be so bored, how I wish I can go back to Melbourne soon." But now, I don't really feel like returning to Melbourne. I'll miss my family and friends once I'm there.

But thank God for uncle Ong, otherwise I'd start feeling void again, like what happened last February and July. So, God is gracious after all! =)

Anyway, photos taken the past few days (or weeks) will only be posted once I'm back in Melbourne. Packed my luggage and all my connectors are in it already. Oh well... See ya peeps in Melbourne!

Knit?

I've been trying to knit for the past few days and well, it ain't very successful. After watching some knitting videos from youtube and reading up on knitting websites, I found out that the yarn and knitting needles that I got were for experts.

Damn, I wanted to knit a fanciful "furry" scarf for the dearest, but well, I guess I have to get some common yarn to do some ugly scarf for him in the end. What a waste of money. I should've googled on knitting before I bought all that stuff. Now I have 6 balls of yarn and a pair of circular knitting needles rotting at home.

Guess I'll just bring my other knitting needle (that I just got) to Melbourne and buy the common yarns there.

Happy New Year!

So fast 1 year has passed, and yeah, it's the year of the rat! Happy Chinese New Year people!

Had lotsa fun meeting up with the cousins (paternal and maternal), talking and gambling with the uncles and aunties etc. But well, the most fun part was the food that I had! The best meal for CNY has to be over at my maternal grandmother's place, where I could eat my chap chai and duck with salted vegetables soup. IT'S THE BOMB! Thinking of it now makes me droooooool!

Ok, enough talking, hand's tired. Let's welcome the pictures.

Dad & Mom

Just look at them, always posing spastic shots. Well, I wasn't the one who suggested this!

Family Shot

Ahhhhh.... The family tradition, to kneel and say some 4 chinese words in exchange for our red packets. Poor me had to think the entire night what to say to them. In the end? I said the same as last year's. Which was also the same as the other years'. HAHA!

Great granny & Granny (maternal). Yeah no joke, she's still very healthy.

Mummy dearest with her daughters.

Cousins! (maternal) didn't really have the opportunity to take pictures with the paternal side. =(

Cayden! My little nephew. See, at such a young age, he YEARNS to play mahjong. Tsk tsk. =p

And the "xiao gugu" (crazy auntie) telling him to be careful with the tiles.

Me playing with Cayden. So cute..

And the saying goes... Like father, like son. Boy they do look very much alike.

2nd day of CNY

3rd Day of CNY

Look at him... There he goes again. And in the picture, my mom said something like, "Go away lar! Don't disturb!"

But he doesn't really care what the missus had just said...............

There I go again, I think I take after my dad.

I just couldn't eat without making some ugly faces to the camera.

And there she is, cam whoring with my camera. HAHA....

I'm a Graduate!

And yeah, finally... I've gotten my certificate. Going to SIM brought back lots of memories to me. Of course, those were good memories. Before heading to the admin office, I went to the food court to take a look at my favourite ban mian stall.

I was shocked to see that the food court has renovated! Even the lecture side of the building had escalators! Well, this proved that it has been a really long time since I last entered the school.

All the memories then kept coming back to me. I remember those days mugging with Jiahui & gang on the 1st storey. Skipping lectures and going to orchard for ...... I don't really remember what we did (other than shopping =p). Those were the days.

We used to hang out really often. I remember the times where I would meet up with Jiahui, Nicole, Winnie and Huiyu after their class on Thursdays at far east plaza (those were the times where I was shifted to the 32nd intake cos of my bridging modules). We would then go for KTV, if I remembered clearly, we usually use the 4 hours free coupon (so cheapo! =p).

Those 2.5 years were really the best time of my life. Now that I'm away and they're working, leading each other's own lives, we hardly meet up. Even celebrating Winnie's birthday (in October) was brought back till November when I returned from Melbourne.

I really miss them alot. Miss hanging out with them. Well, maybe its time to organise a girl's outing. At times I wish that I could turn back time and go back to those days where we had so much fun.

Time passes so quickly and we were only 20 then. Now we're all 24, goodness, I suddenly feel a crisis. All of them are already working! And I'm still studying.... =( Okay, enough of these. I'm starting to feel emo.

Laters.

Experiment #129475

Well, guess what I did today? I slept at 7am (watched too much tv series till I totally forgotten about the time!), didn't go to church as I was too tired (bad bad girl...), woke up for lunch and continued with my Veronica Mars.

Other than that, I did an experiment. Guinea pig = my sister. I helped her put on make up! Woohoo~ Virgin face for experiment. Well, I'm glad it turned out right. =p

Before and After

And the rest of the day? Continued with my Veronica Mars and of course not forgetting my dinner. Haha. Slacker!

Finally back!
