Gone with the wind.

Sorry for the long hiatus for ... the family's here! YIPPEE!

1. More shopping
2. Spending $ that's not mine (my allowance that is)
3. Lots of GOOOD meals
4. Having lotsa fun
5. Lastly, spending precious time with the family =)

Ever since they came on friday, we've been eating VERY well. Not that I haven't been eating well before they came, BUT we've been eating out at restaurants such as ...

Rock kung, Pacific House, Nacho's etc... And the food that we ordered, of course, not individuals but dishes! We wanted to go to Squire's Loft, but the !@^%$# lost our reservation. WTP (what the pee)!

Also, we've been to the Great Ocean Road and Grampians. But the parents didn't want to climb The Pinnacle, just McKenzie drove them NUTS. tsk tsk tsk.

Other than that, we bought PICTIONARY! Which, of course, the 20s beat the 40s. MUAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. We play that everyday, until now I'm kinda SICK OF IT.

Enough said. Pictures are in Facebook. Soon.

Going, going, SOLD.

It's just a day that I posted my items for sale.

There were 19 items to be sold, and now, only 5 are left. Gosh! It's quick man!

And for Jems, it's even faster. He just posted his items for sale this afternoon. Now left are just the misc.

I wonder ...

If we priced the items too cheaply?

OR

People are just kiasu?

Realisation

It's the 13th of October.

Time of the year where people are busy finishing their assignments or starting their mugging routine. Many are preparing for their finals this semester, and then it's the beginning of reality.

Work.

Followed by marriage.

Followed by kids.

All these spell one word. Responsibilities.

Singapore is in recession now. Not really the right time for me as I've just graduated and hoping to find a job where I can work my ass off for at least the next 10 years. But it seems unrealistic now, or, at least for now.

I remember 10 years ago, I was in Shenton Way for flag day. I have no idea why, I may not be in the right state of mind, but I went to the CBD area. It was there, I pointed to the UOB building, told my friend, "one day, I'll be sitting in that office, overlooking the whole of Singapore".

Woah, ambitious eh?

People have dreams, but not all dreams can become reality. We have to work hard for it. Opportunity doesn't come knocking on the door like your mother does. You have to go look for it. May it be 10, 20, 30 years down the road to realise your dream, if you don't search for the opening, it'll never be at your doorstep. Never.

So stop dreaming and come back to earth.

Let the survival begin.

Why should you bother?

Exactly.

Why should you bother?

Nuts

Goodness.

Days in Melbourne has taken a toll in my life. I'm bored, clueless and exasperated. Currently, all my friends are still in Uni, busy studying for their finals, for most of them. Here I am, on the verge of wanting to kill myself out of boredom, is going crazy.

This is so uneventful!

French is gonna end soon. I'm taking the last golf lesson this wednesday. What am I gonna do after all these?

My gosh, somebody... Please find something for me to do. This is drivng me insane!

And I just finished a bar of chocolate with macadamia nuts.

Missing In Action

Hell ya, I've been missing in action. Didn't realise that I actually had a blog until I saw my email regarding the comment posted on my previous entry.

Oh well, haven't been doing much. The past few weeks had been swamped with rehearsals, rehearsals and rehearsals. Didn't charge my camera's battery, so no photos unfortunately! Well, thank God E-Night was good. I was so worried something might happen along the way and I'd forget my lines.

Anyway, all's good and I just came back from a getaway in Daylesford. That place is awesome! Went horseback riding, visited the chocolate mill, lavender farm (which was barren) and an extinct volcano (all we saw were trees ....). All in all, it was a good experience.

Talking about horseback riding, I thought that it was supposed to be relaxed and let the horse take you around the countryside/trail. Never did I know that my entire body would ache so badly. Yeah, not just the butt mind you.

My horse is called "Miss Jane", kinda princessy and ALWAYS wants to be ahead of the whole pact. And well, she LOVES to eat, stopping every few minutes to munch on greens. Once she noticed that she's quite far off from the pact (despite me tightening the reigns asking her to move it), she started galloping! That was basically the whole trip. Stop-Eat-Munch-Munch-Gallop. She's crazy.

Overall, I had fun. =)

It was gooooooood.
